Rising Damp Treatment & Limelite Plaster Renovation – York

This living room in York was showing clear signs of rising damp, with moisture affecting the lower section of the wall and breaking down the existing plaster finish.

To provide a long-term solution, we carried out a full damp-proofing and renovation plaster system designed to stop moisture rising and manage residual salts correctly — leaving the wall ready for a clean, durable finish.

Rather than using cosmetic “quick fixes”, we used a breathable Limelite renovation plaster system, which is ideal for older UK homes and helps prevent damp and salt contamination from returning through the new finish.
