Rising Damp Treatment & Lime Plaster Renovation – Harrogate

This living room in Harrogate was suffering from rising damp, with moisture affecting the lower sections of the internal walls and damaging the existing plaster.

To provide a long-term, guaranteed solution, we carried out a full damp-proofing and lime plaster renovation system designed to both block moisture ingress and allow the walls to manage residual salts correctly.

Rather than using cosmetic fixes, this property was treated using a cementitious waterproofing layer combined with breathable Limelite plaster, which is the correct approach for older UK homes.
